Owner and artist Kim Bacon is no stranger to design
and color. Working with color is not an easy thing to do and starting out as a hair stylist has paved the
way for better understanding color theory and design.
Kim has studied
with some of the top talent this industry has to offer such as Chicago Institue of Fine Finishes, Aaron Cohen of Seattle,
The Faux Finish School in Maryland, Jeff Raum, Sean Crosby, Sal & Nancy Moccia, Rodney Ray, Yves Lanthier, Jennifer
Carrasco, Artworks Spokane, and William Cochran.
Kim has been a member of and served 6 years on the Board of IDAL (International Decorative Artisans
League, formerly SALI) and attending national conventions since 1997. She is an active member of Emerald City Artisans
where she is involved with continuing education and serving on the Board.
Her work has taken her to many homes and offices in the Washington area, as
well as Phoenix and Idaho. In 2008 and 2009 Kim had the privilage of working Tour of Homes in Wenatchee,WA.
Kim lives in Quincy Washington with husband Kent. Kent ownes and operates Twin Firs Turf
and together the couple has a party business, Parties on the Green. Kim's artistic talents can be seen in many of the
couples party business.
